Monument Valley

I thought I would try a slightly different take on the famous view of “The Mittens” and Merrick Butte in Monument Valley so I waited until dark and photographed the buttes against the night sky.  There was a half-moon that provided the foreground illumination. The reddish colour of the land (caused by iron oxide - rust) comes through even at night.
