Valley of Fire State Park is in the Mohave Desert just under an hour’s drive from Las Vegas, Nevada.  The park, Nevada’s first State Park, is known for its interesting rock formations.  Mouse’s Tank Road leads to several hiking trails including Mouse’s Tank Trail.  The trail leads to a natural water basin (tank) hence the name.
